Coming up with a New CPA Exam Study Plan

Keona2Keona is a [A71 product=”combo”]NINJA CPA blogger[/A71].

I received the dreaded 74. Honestly, I took it better than I thought (no tears).

Before I received my AUD score I was looking at my study schedule for REG and was debating if it was possible to fit this test in this quarter.

After receiving my failing AUD score, I decided to push my REG test to the next testing quarter.

This will give me the same time I had for my FAR test, which I passed on the first try.

I don’t understand how I passed FAR (the beast) on the first try and not AUD or BEC. I guess everyone has their nemesis.

I plan on taking REG in the beginning of January and then retaking AUD in February. I want to use the excuse I was suffering with a sinus infection but honestly it doesn’t matter I failed. I was hoping not to study over the holidays but I guess I have no choice.

I laugh when I think of my score. Everyone keeps asking me well what question you got wrong. Ah if was only that easy.

The CPA exam has definitely humbled me. I have 10 months before my first test expires which gives me three testing quarters to pass REG and AUD. I will keep on pushing. HIYA

Hi Keana, Sorry to hear you didn't pass AUD. I'm just starting my CPA journey this month studying for AUD for my first test. I would really like to hear what your daily study schedule is like. I'm only using Ninja study materials that include the book, notes, flash cards and the MCQ test website. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I feel for you girl! If it makes you feel any better, I've been on this journey for 3 years. Passed my first exam (BEC) in January of 2013. I finally passed the other 3 parts but I was about 2 quarters too late unfortunately. So I re-took BEC thinking it wouldn't be a problem considering the first time I really only studied for 2 weeks & only 75% of the material. .... Boy was I wrong. I got a 74. On a section I already passed. And it was my last one. So I took it again in Q2 this year. Got another 74. I thought that it had to be a joke! I've had about enough & AUD is going to expire on 12/31 this year. So I re-took BEC the Monday before thanksgiving. Good luck! I hope both of our journeys end as quickly as possible from here forward!
