CPA Exam: Focusing on the Small Joys

Keona2Keona is a [A71 product=”combo”]NINJA CPA blogger[/A71].

Since it is summer, when I leave Starbucks after studying it is still light outside on my drive home. I’m trying to find small joys during this studying process.

Studying is already stressful.

My current boss is leaving the department soon and I just found out I will be taking on some of his tasks until another manager is hired.

It’s like déjà vu. My last manager left around this time last year as well and I took on some of his tasks that I never was able to pass on to the new manager. Oh the joy.

The director of my department does not know I’m studying for the CPA exam and I’m not sure if that will make a difference on my workload.

The upside is that I have a job. I watched a few of my coworkers lose their jobs last month due to their jobs moving out of the country. So I’m practicing less complaining and looking at the simple joys in life.

HIYA
