NINJA CPA Review

How has this year flown by? I mean, 2017 already? I feel like we were just entering 2016.

I had a lot of goals for 2016, but it’s been a hard year and I didn't accomplish many of them. I have higher hopes for 2017.

Everyone around me is talking resolutions. I’m just talking about getting organized and having GOALS. No resolutions, just goals.

There are things I want to change and accomplish, but it's going to take being much more organized and focused to get them accomplished. I’m starting the year off with REG. I’ve been going over the books, but need to dive headfirst into the NINJA MCQs.

Unfortunately, my husband’s schedule has changed and he works late a few nights so more is put on me now with the kids and homework, bedtime, etc.

To battle all of this, I bought myself a new planner with LOTS of writing room to plan things out, like what I should be studying.

My oldest is in third grade and is struggling with science and math so she's been my priority the past few weeks. Not only do I have to come up with a better plan for myself to study, but we’re helping her figure out a new way to study as well.

She correlated her struggles with my studying for the exam. She noticed I’d put my studies on hold to make sure we were helping her, but she comes first.

She has a planner for school, so I showed her mine and how I was coming up with a schedule of what to read, how many MCQs to do and how many pages to re-write each day.

Being more organized with our studies will help both of us in the long run. If I’m being a better example to her that makes me even happier.

I’ll just be really happy when the CPA Exam is over. Happy 2017!
