Starting REG Fresh After a Long Break

Holiday season is rapidly approaching. I can’t figure out where the year has gone; it’s flown by so fast.

I keep having setbacks because being the type of person I am, I tend to put everyone before me and what I want.

I am finally learning the word “No.” It is my turn to be first and get past this exam. I have been attempting (and failing) the CPA exam for the past 2 years.

I haven’t taken an actual exam in at least 4 months. To be honest, I feel like I’ve been going in circles trying to take this exam.

I’ve got a plan to take REG the last possible date available in December; there are still openings so I’m moving fast! I’m going to essentially restart my studying since I’ve had to deal with other issues the past few weeks. I need to reset my brain and hit the ground running.

I plan on studying at least 3 hours each week day (whether it be in the morning, my lunch break and in the evenings). Then I want to get at least 5 hours over the weekend.

This will give me just over 100 solid hours of studying before I take my exam. I feel confident that as long as I stay on course and ensure that I don’t let things get in the way I will be fully prepared to take on REG in December.

This is hitting on the final push for 2016 and I’d like to accomplish at least part of my goal before the year ends.
