It happened. I waited too long to schedule my FAR exam out of fear of fees if I needed to reschedule. Now there are no more slots open for the test I have been studying for.

I have no one to blame but myself. The reality of pushing my test back four weeks is frustrating after already having pushed it back this fall, but I am not going to change my study patterns now that I have been making progress.

I am slightly worried about spending too much time on one test. I keep asking myself how this happened. How did time go fast while studying progress went so slow?

I cannot continue this pace once I have passed one of the tests. I need to kick myself in gear and get the show on the road. I did not do well studying during the warmer months and do not want to spend another summer with these tests in the back of my mind.

Winter needs to be my time of action. I need to make the best of my time, despite the holidays breaking up the months. With my test now four weeks out, I am reviewing the basics from the beginning to help with problem solving.

I am also spending more time on simulations to find more problem areas to focus on. I know I will not get to all my weak areas but I really do want the knowledge and problem solving abilities these tests are putting me through.

As Thanksgiving has passed I want to say a huge thank you to the NINJA community for being here for all of us struggling and persevering through the CPA exams. We are in control of our own future, but the help and encouragement is appreciated.
