NINJA CPA Review

Stacey is a NINJA CPA blogger. I have had a very difficult time balancing monthly family events with my studying while studying for the CPA Exam. It’s been a challenge. I’m happy to say I finally had a successful trip away from home while still getting in my study sessions! I have been doing really well at home with my regular schedule of night and weekend study sessions, so I did not want to take a set back from a weekend away to visit family. I was very thankful my husband was willing and able to drive the twelve hours round trip so I could have streaming through my headphones while I was re-writing my notes. When my hands or ears got sore I was able to re-read my notes and go through flashcards. Every time I got in the car with family to drive somewhere over the weekend, I

Stacey is a NINJA CPA blogger. I am finally feeling good about my study time the last couple of weeks and I am ready to schedule my test four weeks out. With tax season upon us, the weeks are only going to get busier, so I am focused on getting FAR taken in February. I have come to terms with that, because it was holding me back from wanting to spend any more time, energy, or money on another fail. Of course I do not want another fail, but if I do not get rid of that fear, I’m also holding myself back from my chance to succeed and pass. I’m moving forward with my study sessions and am setting deadlines for myself: daily goals, and

NINJA CPA Review

Stacey is a NINJA CPA blogger. With New Year Resolutions the thoughts of the month, I’m sure we all want to put “Complete my CPA Certification” near the top of the 2017 list. It certainly is on my list. Now I’m going to let others know it’s on my list too. I need to make major improvements in my accountability areas this next year. Work has been my major focus the last three months with a new boss and first-hand experience of a coworker committing fraud. I couldn’t control that. But I am the one choosing not to make the best use of my time when at work. I blamed family, mostly my spouse, for taking up too much of my time. I didn’t want to say “no” to quality time. Later I would think about the studying I should have done. If I don’t show or tell my husband I want to study,
