Week 3:

Putting in a long day going through 100’s of CPA Exam questions is not my idea of fun. However, I don’t know a better way to learn the material. I wish there was a way to learn this stuff by falling asleep with my head on a book via osmosis.

Overall, this week went down pretty well. I went through roughly 1,000 multiple choice questions and 20 simulation questions. I also finished up the Yaeger CPA Review FAR DVDs.

I am mapping out my progress on each section and taking notes of areas I find confusing or unclear to me. In total, I put in 33 hours this week and am noting my scores on each section as I take them.

My plan for next week is to improve my scores in each FAR section to a score of at least 70% or above for both multiple choice and simulation questions. In doing this I want to review at least 500 combined multiple choice and simulation questions. I need to really key in on simulation questions this week. I also hope to review Jeff’s NINJA notes for FAR and Yaeger’s handouts to their videos.

Besides this I want to also review my notes and cut them down as needed and continue to add confusing items to them. This week will be slower in terms of study hours because I have month-end in my accounting office. In total, I hope to put in at least 25 hours of studying. So far, things are looking pretty good with now only 3 weeks and counting until exam day.
