The AICPA has released the 2013 CPA Exam Pass Rates for Q3.

Q3: 46.56%
Q2: 48.08%
Q1: 45.19%

Q3 2013: 46.56%
Q3 2012: 50.06%

BEC 2013 Pass Rates

Q3: 58.54%
Q2: 55.95
Q1: 53.47%

Q3 2013: 58.54%
Q3 2012: 57.63%

FAR 2013 Pass Rates

Q3: 51.23%
Q2: 49.09%
Q1: 47.16%

Q3 2013: 51.23%

REG 2013 Pass Rates

Q3: 49.80%

1. Q3 almost always has the highest CPA Exam pass rates of the year. This time, we had one section increase over Q2, two sections that slightly decreased, and a push.

2. That 58% BEC pass rate is impressive, considering BEC hit 48% at one point in 2012.
